HWHS is a home management platform that connects homeowners with vetted local contractors across every trade — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cleaning, lawn care, pest control, handyman, and more. We set fair prices, handle prepayment, and maintain a permanent Home Record of every service performed on your home.
Is the free diagnosis really free?▼
Yes. Completely free, no credit card required, no commitment. The diagnosis walks you through a few questions about your situation and gives you a health score, assessment, and next steps. You can stop right there if you got what you needed.
How does pricing work?▼
HWHS sets all prices using market data and industry expertise. You see the price before you book. The contractor sees the same price. There is no on-site negotiation — ever. You prepay in full, the contractor does the work, and they get paid after you confirm the job is complete.
Why do I prepay? Is that safe?▼
Prepayment protects both you and the contractor. Your payment is held by HWHS through Stripe — the contractor never sees your card info and collects $0 on-site. The payout is released only after you confirm the job is done. If there's a problem, HWHS handles it.
What if the contractor finds additional work needed?▼
The contractor notes the finding and completes the original job they were booked for. HWHS then contacts you with the finding, explains options and pricing, and you decide what to do. The contractor never pitches you directly on-site. You're never pressured into more work.
What is the Home Record?▼
Your Home Record is a permanent, verified log of every service performed on your home through HWHS — what was done, who did it, what it cost, and when. It's attached to your address and travels with you. When you sell, you can share it with buyers, realtors, and inspectors as proof of every investment you've made.
What areas do you serve?▼
We're launching in the Indianapolis metro area — Marion, Hamilton, Johnson, Hancock, Shelby, and Hendricks counties. All Indiana markets are visible on the platform. If we're not live in your area yet, you can join the waitlist and we'll notify you when your area activates.
How do you choose your contractors?▼
We work exclusively with small, local operators — no national chains, no companies that compete on ad spend. Every contractor is vetted for licensing (where required), insurance, and track record. They're the contractors your neighbor would recommend.
What if I'm not happy with the work?▼
Contact HWHS before confirming the job as complete. We'll work with you and the contractor to resolve the issue. Since payment is held until you confirm, you have leverage — and we have a process to make it right.
Do you work with realtors?▼
Yes. Realtors can both list as professional service providers on the platform and partner with us to share Home Records at closing. If you're a realtor interested in working with HWHS, contact us.
Is there an app?▼
HWHS works in your phone's browser — no app download needed. On iPhone, you can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. A dedicated app is planned as the platform grows.
